Our Safety/Security & Envorimental Policy

MOLDE CONCEPT is involved in HSE Management, Information Technology services, Electrical, Civil and Mechanical Engineering works, it is the policy of our company to conduct its business activities in such a way that the safety of its employees are safe guarded and that damage to property and environment are minimized. In view of this, we recognize that some its activities and services might present situations that could risk of injury to it employees, clients etc. In principle the management of MOLDE CONCEPT agrees that all accidents are preventable and every effort is made to plan towards zero targets; therefore accepts collective responsibility for taking all practical steps reasonably possible in order to protect the health and safety of its employees and others that may be involved in the cause of its operations. MOLDE CONCEPT also accepts responsibility for ensuring that equipment, implements/tools and vehicles used are in their best conditions thus guaranteeing them safe use. Furthermore, MOLDE CONCEPT is subject to relevant Federal, State and Local Government Laws, rules, regulations and requirements. To implement this policy, MOLDE CONCEPT has a laid down safety rule for its employees inclusive of the HSE team. MOLDE management is aware that potential risk areas are both at home, leisure and work place therefore places the provision of welfare amenities and healthy place of work top on its priority list. This policy is set out for every employee to comply with. Employees are expected therefore to report unsafe conditions and acts for prompt correction. It is mandatory for all employees to wear protective equipment for their use.

To give policy, we will endeavor to do the following:

  • Ensure that staffs that have to work in marine environment are capable of swimming to the standard of personal survival and wear their floatation devices while at work.
  • Every staff will be physically examined and confirmed medically fit by the Company Government recognized Practitioner.
  • Provide staff others associated in our sites with information on any potential hazards.
  • To ensure that staffs are exposed to safety courses/training organized by our HSE department.
  • Use of Quality standard s to organize HSE events for our Clients.
  • Endeavor to select and maintain high and cost effective standard for project, operations and contractors.
  • To report accidents quickly when they occur and carry out prompt investigation of same.
  • Provide safe working environment and maintain same.
  • Provide adequate personal protective equipment and enforce usage of same.
  • Taking all practicable steps to progressively identify and eliminate or modify such operations, equipment and or working practices that adversely effect or constitute danger to the health and safety of its employees.

MONITORING

To monitor the execution of this policy, a dedicated HSE team is headed by a manager who reports directly to the Managing Director. This particular policy holds the Managing Director responsible for its overall implementation. In furtherance of their responsibility to administer the HSES – CASHES policy, the Board has laid down organizational design to secure the maintenance of safe working places, facilities, system of work whilst encouraging appropriate training supervision and instruction of employees in relations to health, safety and environment at work. However, the achievement of the objectives is the dual responsibility of the management and employees alike. To give direction in this respect, special responsibility has been allocated to individuals.

CONCLUSION

It is part of our policy in MOLDE CONCEPT to keeps employees informed of the need of safety consciences in all we do. We all know how unwanted accidents are; they cause death, pains and sufferings, loss of trade etc. they waste labour, money and time. They damage plants equipment, disorganize arrangements and generally reduce productivity. The total loss due to accidents is enormous; therefore, the prevention is vital.



QUALITY ASSURANCE AND QUALITY CONTROL POLICY

POLICY STATEMENT

MOLDE CONCEPT is engaged in HSE Management and the provision of engineering services for manufacturing and oil companies. These needs include Engineering (Mechanical and Electrical); Procurement, Construction, Start-up operation and Maintenance of diversified projects mostly in Building Complex, Power House and Plant, Factories, Oil Refineries, Oil Depots and Pipeline, Offshore Platforms and facilities. Due to the nature of our engagement, utmost importance is attached to conformance of our services with international acceptable standard of quality. Hence the primary objective of MOLDE is to provide services which conform to client’s quality requirements and international standard. To fulfill the above objective, MOLDE has decided to adopt the Quality Assurance Systems as outline in this policy. The Quality Assurance / Quality Control team has the full support of the Management of the Company to implement the measures outlined in this Quality Assurance Manual and in specific projects Quality Assurance plans. The QA/QC Department acts independently from other Departments with QA/QC Engineer as the Head and reporting directly to the top Management of the company. It is recognized that the achievement of satisfactory standard of quality is the responsibility of all personnel involved in the work execution not solely that of QA/QC personnel. Therefore, it is mandatory for all MOLDE personnel to adhere strictly to the quality requirements as outlined in this statement and other related quality procedures and plans.

QUALITY ASSURANCE PROGRAM

The aim of the QA program for every project is to give confidence to MOLDE and clients that contract codes specifications and such quality requirements are achieved.
The QA program covers all project activities affecting quality (namely: engineering, procurement, inspection and testing, site construction and installation) together with relevant documentation.
The activities covered by the QA program are carried out with a system where Organizational structures, functional responsibilities, interfaces, reporting and communications lines are clearly defined. Furthermore, such activities are documented through adequate procedures.
All personnel are responsible for quality of work that they carry out. For each project, the manager is responsible for implementation of contractual QA program. The Quality Assurance Organizational verifies the implementation of QA program and evaluates its adequacy to realize established quality objectives. Whenever necessary corrective actions are requested to prevent and correct non-conformance.
The scope of Quality Assurance activities for construction projects is mainly to:
  • Ensure that the work is accurately planned and organized.
  • Ensure that procedures and instructions are issued for the performance of all required work.
  • Ensure, by qualified inspection that the work is carried out to required quality.
  • Demonstrate by documented records that the work has been carried out and inspection to required quality.
The Client’s Representatives have free access to documentation and facilities relevant to the contractual work with assistance by QA Organization. The training needs and provisions for the training of all personnel performing quality-affecting activities are identified by the Management and are part of the Quality Assurance program. In particular, personnel performing special task shall be qualified on the basic of appropriate education and in compliance with the applicable standards and regulations.
